the SC21 implementation working group has developed and sponsored the launch SC21 implementation plan, encompassing some 120 aerospace and defence businesses. In the launch phase, these have been selected because they either service multiple key customers in our industry and/or provide strategic capabilities. This plan represents the initial phase of implementation and will grow as more customers and suppliers progress into SC21 implementation.
The plan will be updated monthly and published on the SC21 website and circulated to key stakeholders and key customer senior executives thereby maintaining transparency of collective progress, and creating cooperation and support at an industrial level.
As agreed in the Task Force, other businesses will also work with their Regional Trade Association to implement SC21. Any business, especially an SME, who has not yet been invited to implement SC21, should contact their RTA for help and support to implement SC21 with their customers and suppliers.
