There are a variety of Government funding programmes available for UK-based R&T projects, both at the UK and European level. The SBAC works with the Government, up to Ministerial level, to represent the UK aerospace industry and to ensure that its priorities and needs are reflected in these programmes.

The Innovation Manager can help SBAC members:

• stay up-to-date about funding opportunities suitable for their areas of interest
• determine which funding scheme is best suited for a particular R&T project
• identify appropriate project partners or consortia
• assess the quality and completeness of funding proposals before submission.
