The SC21 programme is seen as a key enabler for preparing the aerospace and defence supply chain for the ever increasing demands of the 21st century.

The SBAC SC21 survey is designed not only to provide a snapshot view of the industry in 2007 as to the progress of SC21 programme but also it's penetration within the Aerospace and Defence Supply Chain. The results of the survey will also provide important information to assist in formulating the future SC21 plan and priorities.

Industry and government see the results of this survey as a key indicator as how SC21 being used and implemented in the aerospace and defence industry .

The results of the survey will be published in the summer, and will give benchmark results for the industry as a whole. The survey will be used by a wide variety of users, from government departments and ministers, regional partners and devolved authorities through to individual companies wanting to benchmark themselves against the national level. It is likely to be widely reported in the national, broadcast and trade media throughout the year.
