DTI technology programme
In 2004, the UK Government established a 10-year investment framework for science and innovation programmes. ?320 million in grant funding is available to UK businesses to support R&D projects between 2005 and 2008. The DTI's Technology Programme announces calls in the Spring and Autumn of each year based on technical areas identified as funding priorities by its Technology Strategy Board.
The SBAC strongly encourages its members to bid into the Technology Programme, and we announce new calls for proposals to all of our members. We also work with the DTI to understand the level of quality required for proposals for this programme, and can provide guidance and quality reviews for our member companies. Finally, we work closely with the industry leads for the NATS programmes to understand how they will bid for funds from the Technology Programme, and to identify opportunities to pull together proposals with other bidders.
Contact the Innovation Manager if you require assistance or more information to prepare a bid or identify bidding partners.
