SC21 engagement process
entry points: customer led / regionally led / in house
milestone 1 (M1): lead key customer agreed
this milestone tracks when the key customer working group establishes who is the key customer contact for a supplier. The lead key customer is responsible for co-ordinating the other key customers for that supplier
milestone 2 (M2): champions contacted
this milestone is to track:
- firstly each lead key customer has contacted and coordinated with the other customers placing business with the supplier(s) they are the nominated lead for
- secondly lead key customer should engage with the regional partner(s)
milestone 3 (M3): supplier contacted
this milestone tracks that contact has been made with the supplier and that he has agreed to participate in SC21. Or if not please inform SC21 project office as soon as possible
milestone (M4): supplier signed up SC21
tracks that nominated supplier CEO has formally signed up to SC21 via the SBAC
milestone 5 (M5): 1st SC21 workshop held
an initial workshop including all necessary stakeholders has taken place
milestone 6 (M6): baseline status documented
document produced by key customer/region/supplier that captures the "point of departure" at the start of implementation in order to measure improvements achieved. ( e.g. number of audits per annum, how many improvement plans in place at start v no of KC's, how many relationship measured - improvement plans in place etc)
milestone 7 (M7): improvement plan agreed
this milestone tracks that an integrated improvement plan has been established with agreed scope, objectives and milestones
