aerospace technology validation programmes
Aerospace Technology Validation Programmes (ATVP) demonstrate and integrate innovative technologies, reducing the risk in downstream product programmes. ATVPs will be led by a single UK company with participation open to all UK aerospace companies for work to be undertaken in the UK; however, they will be funded jointly by industry and Government.
ATVPs will focus on a specific product theme, identified as part of the National Aerospace Technology Strategy, over a rolling 5-year period. It is likely that they will be 'fed through' outputs from affiliated Aerospace Innovation Networks.
Six ATVPs are currently being developed:
- Integrated Wing
- More Electric Aircraft
- Environmentally Friendly Engine
- Autonomous Systems
- INFOAir
- Integrated Air Traffic Management Network
Contact the Innovation Manager if you would like further information, including how to participate in an ATVP.
