Achieving supply chain improvement is critical to the continued competitiveness of the UK aerospace and defence industry. This key programme is overseen by SBAC's Enterprise Excellence Board and continues the work of the Aerospace Innovation and Growth Team
SC21 aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry. With international competition increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain is crucial to delivering real results from this modernisation programme.
Signatories have undertaken seven commitments designed to ensure the UK supply chain remains competitive and delivers increased value to customers.
This website sets out the national action plan, implementation guide and improvement processes produced and agreed by industry. Three areas are initially seen as critical:
