top level objectives for 2008

with membership to SC21 increasing rapidly it is important that the various teams have clarity regarding their role with clear governance to ensure the programme remains concise and focused upon its objectives.

2008 key objectives:

  • Increase SC21 implementations to more than 200 with an active improvement plan agreed between the supplier and its customers
    • Maintain the SC21 national implementation plan
    • Promote and implement self starter process
      Fully engage regional partners
  • Innovation & through life capability: set up working group & establish objectives
  • Agree and implement communications strategy
  • Achieve more than 600 SC21 signatories companies by the end of 2008
    Fully integrate MOD into the SC21 programme
  • Develop SC21 alignment with other international supply chains improvement programmes
  • Establish SC21 steering group comprising senior representatives from the industry

  • Achieve customers fully working together in the implementing business groups
    • Allocate implementation buddies within the implementation WG
    • Fully engage ALL regional partners
  • Successfully integrate MOD in the implementation WG

SC21 accreditation SIG

  • Establish KPIs for accreditation
    • Increase from X to Y the number of companies holding AS/EN 9100 ? NADCAP
    • Produce examples of evidence
    • Reduce by % the number of audits carried out by prime customers
    • Refresh the business case for reduced audits/quality intervention
  • Establish specialist training partners for accreditation
  • CAA/MOD approval alignment
  • Review the appropriateness of the quality standards of the recognition scheme

  • Agree & publish recognition process
  • Deliver regional training & awareness events
  • Complete selection of SIG training providers
