the role of sbac

SBAC acts as sponsor for a wide range of events to assist members in developing new business and accessing new markets. The range of events includes 'meet the buyer' events, market briefings and inward visits in the UK, trade missions, seminars and UK pavilions at overseas exhibitions.

Consistent, close collaboration between SBAC, UK Trade and Investment, Department of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Defence Export Services Organisation ensures a united UK approach to key markets.

SBAC facilitates the arrangements for these activities through close communication and liaison with UK industry, overseas industry and UK and overseas government organisations.

trade missions and overseas seminars

Trade missions and overseas seminars provide a forum for UK companies to access the key supply chains of overseas primes and raise awareness in key overseas markets.

SBAC facilitates the arrangements for these activities through close communication and liaison with the UK and overseas industry and UK and overseas government organisations.

Financial support is secured for export business development activities which are co-ordinated in support of trade missions, overseas seminars, exhibitions and airshows. SBAC is also able to secure funds to support UK SMEs in their export initiatives.

UK pavilion at overseas exhibitions

UK Pavilions act as an umbrella at major overseas exhibitions, under which companies can present their products and services to a global audience.

Companies exhibiting through the UK Pavilion receive assistance and support before and during the show. The UK Pavilion benefits the entire aerospace industry and participation is not limited to SBAC members. Every company allied to aerospace is welcome.

To be added to our database or to find out more about the exhibitions we plan to attend, please contact the exhibitions team:

The UK Pavilion commands the best locations at overseas exhibitions and has a distinctive visual identity. It is now widely acknowledged as one of the 'must see' areas where international visitors can meet the best of aerospace in a dedicated one-stop area. As part of the UK Pavilion your company and on-site staff will profit from a wide range of pre-show and on-site benefits.
